Every price on this page was read off the vendor's own listing rather than a range copied from another roundup. Here is what the category actually costs.
The short answer
Vagus nerve stimulation devices run from $199 to $900. The cheapest true electrical device is Hoolest VeRelief Prime at $199. The most expensive is the Parasym ear clip at $900 in the United States, which is also the only one named in published trial methods.
The useful shortcut. Almost every device here is a one time purchase that works fully without paying anything monthly. Price mostly buys form factor, not evidence.

Prices were checked at each vendor in late July 2026. Storefronts in this category run promotions and price by geography, so treat these as the current published figure rather than a permanent one.
Two things that change the number you pay
Bundles. Several vendors price multi packs well below two singles. The Pulsetto offer page runs buy one get one at 50 percent off for $336 and buy two get one free for $448, all with free shipping. Nuropod sells a dual device at $1,800. Hoolest sells an Ultimate Bundle at $399. If you are buying for two people, that is where the saving is.
Currency and market. Sensate prices in pounds and euros, and the Parasym clip is €700 in Europe against $900 in the United States for the same hardware. If you are comparing a figure you saw in another market, you may be comparing the wrong number.

This is shorter than the category's reputation suggests. Most of these devices are bought once and then owned.

The one to be deliberate about is Pulsetto, where the device and the app subscription are separate charges. The stimulation programs work on the free tier, and the paid tier adds meditations, breathing exercises and affirmations. Decide which you want at the point of purchase rather than discovering the distinction later.
Health accounts and returns
The Nuropod US listing states HSA and FSA eligibility, as does Xen by Neuvana. For a $900 device that can be the single biggest change to what you actually pay, and it is easy to miss at checkout. Eligibility depends on your plan administrator.
Return windows vary more than prices do. Sensate advertises 90 days risk free. Hoolest gives 30 days on Prime and 60 on Pro, with a $10 processing fee deducted from refunds and a 15 percent restocking fee if the packaging is missing. Most of the rest run 30 days, with the customer paying return shipping.
Whatever you buy, start using it in the first week. Fit problems and skin sensitivity show up early, and a 30 day window disappears quickly.
What the price does and does not buy
The honest pattern across this category is that price tracks the form factor and the marketing more than it tracks evidence. Two of the devices above $398 are not electrical stimulation at all, and the $199 device delivers current in the same way as the $499 one.
